traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe

Acreage (owned, leased): Own 12 acres, lease 1-5 acres from a neighbor for grazing & crops

Type of livestock: Small flock of Finn sheep, for wool and meat

Farm crew size: Self, husband has an off-farm job but also helps on farm. Usually have crew of 2-4 part-time people from March-November

Products: Naturally-dyed yarns and fibers, Finnsheep lambs, vegetables, particularly East Asian varieties

Markets: Farmers market, CSA, food bank contracts, online sales via website

ICLS practices: Grazing cover crops, terminating crops, cleaning up field residue and weeds, on-farm compost

Years in operation: since 2018

Years certified organic: Have been transitioning since 2020, 2023 is first year certified
